Re: Saga Reviews
I got the saga 2 days ago. I was using a blackberry curve. I haven't played with the phone a lot but here's my early impressions:
+ The mouse isn't as bad as I thought it would be. + The keyboard seems decent. At first, I didn't like it as much as the curve's keyboard but it grew on me. + ICS, WiFi Router, and the SkyFire web browser all worked!!! + You don't need to use the stylus at all. + You can press the side button to quickly switch between mouse and touch pad modes. - Some may find that this phone is big. I don't mind a big phone though. - Battery life is bad so far. I'm trying a few battery saving config changes and hope they will help. - I have to press down on the screen a little too hard to move around web pages. I hope I can change a setting or something to fix this - I'm not sold on the mouse. But after using the curve's trackball, I'm guessing I wont like anything else better. - Proprietary charge and sync cables. I mean, realy... Conclusion: I didn't like it on day one. It just felt clunky compared to my curve. But after I set up my email, installed ICS, WiFi Router, and skyfire, I'm really liking the phone. These three applications might be worth the price of admission since blackberry doesn't have similar options (bb shark modem sucks). The biggest possible show stopper is battery life. I'll get a better sence of this once I go back to work next week. |

Re: Saga Reviews
thank you. can review the size vs the treo line, maybe pics?
I really want to like this phone but stores in my area wont carry it as a demo so I'm reluctant to drop that kind of money on a device i cant play with beforehand. |

Re: Saga Reviews
I hated it at first. Then I installed phoneAlarm pro, which made me able to get text messages without turning on all sounds for all programs. and in magicall and...it's got poor battery life but it works nice and does what I want now!
