Usb storage and playstation 3?

I would like to be able to connect my PS3 to my (i910) Omnia...in theory (because everything works...in theory) this should work. But sadly it doesn't . I have tried both modes, and the PS3 doesn't detect it. Any idea how I can get this to work? Are there other users here who have both of these devices and can share their experience?

Re: Usb storage and playstation 3?

I have not tried it but I do know that it has to be formatted in Fat or it will not recognize it. I have no idea what it's originally formatted as, but I do know it HAS to be in Fat.

Question:Why do you want to hook it up anyway??

Hmm.... Problem solved. Take out the SD card from the omnia and place it in the PS3 card slot reader. As long as you have the most recent PS3 updates it should recognize most media files. If that doesn't work, just purchase a cheap flash drive.
