Re: Tell me on the Omnia :)

Well, one VERY weird issue for me. It works perfect. as long as I have GPS signal coming to phone. In other words. I can do any search that I want, , ,outside. It will find local weather, business, stocks, etc. as well as call and text. When I go inside. It will only call or text by command. I've gone into the registry and found a couple location based items. I'm going to try to play with some settings in there later.
I have 6.5 ROM by Evidence

Re: Tell me on the Omnia :)

Do I need windows mobile 6.5? Because I have 6.1 and it keeps starting and then closing instantly.

It was designed for 6.5 so that may be your issue.

Re: Tell me on the Omnia :)

Hey Greens, even though mine kept closing at around 70 percent done when I ran it initially, I went into my start menu and it had in icon in there for it that seems to work. It works perfectly to search stuff, but my call or text dont seem to work, it just keeps thinking and thinking. I am in my house with almost no signal, but I have my wifi on. Do you guys think it maybe doesnt use the wifi and just uses broadband, and maybe that is why it is taking so long to think? Im hoping thats the case, I will try it tomorrow when out of this freaking bunker of a house (I hate it, I cant use my cell for anything in here, my calls drop every single time, pisses me off. my brother's friend that has at&t though is able to talk on the phone in here, go figure!!!!!!!!)

Wirelessly posted (Omnia i910: Opera/9.5 (Microsoft Windows; Windows CE; Opera Mobi/9.5; U; en) VZW:SCH-i910 PPC 240x400)

I had to change ROM's but its working now. Text call and search all work no matter where I am.
