Anyway to Strengthen or make the SMS vibration last longer?

I feel that it's far too soft. I can't feel it in my pocket, even while I'm standing still. I leave it on my desk at work, and when it vibrates, I can barely hear it as well. Is there any way to tweak setting in the registry or something to alter these settings?
