Battery not calibrated in WM5

I am getting messages on my Omnia saying the battery is low at 40% charge according to my secondary battery meter. The phone will continue to work but continue to warn us.

Any idea how to calibrate the battery?

Thanks

Re: Battery not calibrated in WM5

I am really surprised that none of our "geeks" have answered your question here.

This is the standard design of the phone. I have had mine for more than half a year now, and I get this message all the time. I don't think it has anything to do with the "calibration" of the battery.

I get the one message when it hits 40% and at that level there don't seem to be any items that are affected by it. It seems to be just that, a warning message.

At 20% of battery life, it sends another, more stern warning. Also, the bluetooth cannot be enabled at 20%. This message continues interrupting more often.

Again, that is the design of the phone.

Re: Battery not calibrated in WM5

I believe that if you install one of the other battery drivers, the 5% or 1%, the notification goes away. I've never tried them because the reports were that they drain the battery. When I used Batti, I think i remember the notifications going away and allowing you to set the notifications to where you wanted. I haven't used Batti in a while since moving to one of the newer WM 6.5.1 builds.
