Windows Media Skinning?

Does anybody know how to skin WM player? I downloaded the skin files in the folder under Program Files, and they dont show up in the skins option under the settings. Or does anybody know a program that can take over WM player?

Re: Windows Media Skinning?

You probably didn't put the skin files in the right place. I'm not sure where to tell you to put them. Maybe the Windows folder? When you say take over do you mean take the place of? I would suggest Core Player.

Re: Windows Media Skinning?

i tried putting them in the media player folder, but it didnt work. when i say take the place of i mean when i click on the media app, or another program opens it i want another app to open. kind of like pocket player which looks like WM but the menu is so much more finger friendly.

thanks

Re: Windows Media Skinning?

Yes, many apps like CorePlayer, Kinoma Play et al will take over the associations for media files so they will launch in that program when you click on, say, an MP3 file in your file explorer. I also have not been able to get WM skins to work.
