how to get rid of low battery warning beep?

this thing seems to start when the phone gets to 50 or 40% battery remaining... and is incredibly annoying.

any way to get rid of it?

thanks for any help.

Re: how to get rid of low battery warning beep?

Go back to some posts in June. I had the same problem and a .cab file was created that you can download that silences the beeping. It worked great. Now it doesn't beep anymore at 50%.

i have searched for a while now.... i can't seem to find a cab.

just a few old threads with various methods... and some talk that there might be a registry hack for this in 6.5. i have no idea where that would be though.

anybody know where the cab is or if there's a way to modify the registry in 6.5 to get rid of this and/or the "battery fully charged" noticfication.

Prolly just search the registry and find it.
