Saving System Seven Settings Over Flash

I've come across a couple posts on the web suggesting ways to preserve System Seven mail account settings over a flash but so far they haven't worked for me. Seven users knows that to re-attach your accounts cost several international text messages. While they won't break me (a dozen or so texts @ $.25), they at least make me pause before I flash "for the fun of it".

Anyone out there have the definitive steps for what files/directories/reg keys need to saved and restored following a flash?
