sound when phone is locked

i just would like to find out if beeping sound can be turned off when phone is locked

When it comes to annoying sounds, Omnia ranks #1! I'm not sure what beeping you're trying to stop, but the sound settings don't help much.
For the top 3 "most annoying" sounds, PhoneOn.wav, PhoneOff.wav, and Notify.wav (the charging complete wake-up call), I use a silent .wav that I rename for each of these. Drop them in the Windows directory, confirm to overwrite the files, and life gets better after that.

WELL its the beeping sound. when phone is locked if you touch something it would beep (i'd say) to remind you that phone is locked.. that;'s what i would like to get out

Yeah, that's the only way that I've found to stop them, Definately replace Notify.wav, you'll be happier.
