Recommendations for a Stable CF03 WM6.5 ROM?

I am currently running Adrynalyne's 4.0 version is seems stable, the only issue I am actively seeing is with app buttons at the bottom of the screen.

For example Resco Backup has a menu button that does not show up at all, but I can press it (If you know it is there).

CoPilot Live 8 the bottom buttons display, but I can't press them. Not sure if these a ROM issue or WM6.5/App issue.

Any suggestions on other ROMs?

+1. IMHO, the best 2 ROMs are Adrynalyne's CF03 WM 6.5 2.0 version (particularly his M2D version--but all his 2.0 versions are great) and Blazingwolf's 1.4 versions. I have tried most of the cooks' ROMs and of ALL of them, these 2 are the most stable and usable without screwing up your daily phone experience. In other words, your phone will work like it's supposed to.

Just for fun, I went back to the stock Verizon CF03 upgrade and boy is it slow! Users who move up to Adrynalyne's and BW's blazingly fast, rock solid ROMs will turn their Omnia into one of the best phones on the market.

So, in summary, Adrynalyn version 2.0 and BW version 1.4. The current cream of the crop.

Re: Recommendations for a Stable CF03 WM6.5 ROM?

I just switched to BW 1.4 version it appears to be working well. It solved my problem with Resco Backup. But Copilot still does not work.

Re: Recommendations for a Stable CF03 WM6.5 ROM?

I've been on BW's ROM's since early in the CF03 versions and although I can't tell you which is closest to base (I'd say prob none as he does note they're heavier than normal) as far as stability, his 1.4 was the best I'd been on, but other than a couple of work around on his beta 23037, I haven't run into any issues at all. It's with the newer finger friendly upgrades and it's been rock solid. He had mentioned about another release that he had looked at earlier today that may have fixes for any bugs in there too. Give it a shot, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Re: Recommendations for a Stable CF03 WM6.5 ROM?

I have been running bw's ROMs for months now and am currently using the Beta 23037 with no issues with the ROM itself. The build has some drawbacks currently just because Microsoft is trying to get its ducks in a row before they actually launch 6.5 next month.

Like all others have said... load one up for a few days and just see what works for you. As for me... I am bleeding edge all the way and blazingwolf cooks it up just right for my taste!
