Remove MMS Size Limit?

I thought I saw an edit on here somewhere about how to remove the MMS size limit. Can someone point me in the right direction? I can't seem to find it and it is VERY annoying that when I send an MMS it wants to resize the photo down. Why the heck would they have a camera that takes pictures larger than the phone allows to send?

Re: Remove MMS Size Limit?

I've never tried this, but in the MMS screen;
Select Menu
MMS Options
Make sure that 495 KB is selected.

When I send a picture, i'll edit it before i send it to make it smaller. HTCAlbum and Media Album can do this. Otherwise you'll have to email it. If you're emailing to a verizon phone, put 1234567891@vtext.com (1234567891 is the phone number). Other carriers have their own address' also.

Hope this helps!

Re: Remove MMS Size Limit?

If you can export the registry entries in this directory:
HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\MMSCSetting
then I can make the size limit to pretty much whatever you want. Personally mine is set for 150MB.

Re: Remove MMS Size Limit?

You can try editing the value here
HKLM\Software\Samsung\MMS\MinPictureFileSize
See what happens, i haven't due to the fact that even if i could send large file size pictures, most of the people i send pics to can't handle the size.

Ok well i guess that means the Omnia doesn't use arcsoft so ignore my previous posts.

Re: Remove MMS Size Limit?

It's not Arcsoft (I don't think, not really sure how to tell). But I get tired of sending picture messages only to see them resized to very small postage stamp pics. Especially if I am uploading them to Facebook.
