right. us folks having the "Sleep of death" appear to be in the minority of all users, and also the minority of users of custom roms. i don't think for a second that your (or adryn's) roms are to blame here. just trying to get info from people who've had it, trying to narrow it down a little.

i wonder if anybody running stock cf03 has had the sleep of death?

anyway, i think i'm gonna try replacing the smstrigger with the cf03 version.

I am in the same situation with the occasional "sleep of death". Holding the power button down for 30 seconds or more does nothing. It can't receive calls or charge, apparently, when in this state. I had my I910 replaced by Verizon due to an insensitive touch screen. Both the old and new phones have the same issue. It doesn't happen all the time nor is it related to any one thing. I have the stock CF03 rom with no plug-ins.
