The dcd verizon carrier cab did nothing. I guess I will just keep trying to flash it from different computers. On my pc it keeps hanging at 60% sometimes for 30 mins!

Flash back to CF via. UMDL-look at the threads, I posted one called official rom is here, there you have the CF.img and UMDL to flash your phone back to normal

Is there a reason why when I done the verizon official update it always stayed at 60% and never rebooted the phone to complete the update? Should I manually restart the phone at 60%?

No. The whole thing. Use UMDL and READ how to. make sure you have the USB driver installed and USB sync off, use USB2.0 if you have it, and flash back to CF. Good luck

Listen to the guys with the really high thanks scores they obviously know what they are talking about. Read the threads before youtake action on anything. The Omnia is the first phone Ive ever done any on this with and I have not had one glitch, nothing nadda zilch. READ THE POSTS!!!!!!!!

Ok I will try the umdl way again. Do I turn off active sync on phone too and change it to mass storage or it doesn't matter?
