Girlfriend got an omnia

Hey.. my girlfriend has had her omnia for about two months now and she absolutely hates the thing!

Complains about texting being slow, doesnt like the onscreen keyboard, and what not..

I currently have SPRINT and have a HTC Diamond and flash my phone every night or so.

So I gave her finger keyboard (which she still doesnt like too much) and put S2U2 on to stop the phone from randomly calling me lol!

BUT... she still hates the phone. Can you guys give me some direction on where to start with the omnia... should I bother with a custom ROM for her?

Any advice will help!!

try adryns 6.5 rom.. the 3.0 version makes the phone ALOT more finger friendly...that should help a ton, from there just figure out what she needs...

Might try a custom rom but if she has made up her mind that she doesn't like it just tell herbto get a smartphone rather than a ppc.

Custom ROM will definitely help and since you've got a ppc you'll be able to help her get it set up properly. I don't know how technical she is but maybe winmo is a bit too complicated/high-maintenance for her.

SHe's made up her mind...get her sumpin else.... or trade her in for a girlfriend to "gets" the Omnia

Using Adryn's 2.0 ROM with Touchpal keyboard helps alot (Im a girl, for whatever that's worth). I finally was able to get rid of my stylus.

Then again, I know enough about flashing and hacking and actually enjoy it, if she doesn't, Im not sure if she will enjoy the Omnia as much as we do...

She is extremely technical we are both mechanical engineering students lol but she HATES when I play with my phone!!

I'll try setting her up with that custom ROM posted.. thanks guys

I second that suggestion for TouchPal. I'm finally able to use T9 on AIM now.
