Thats why I didn't pull the trigger that way....I just changed a few weeks back. Had a Titan 6800 for a few years & wasn't sure the virtual keyboard would work for me, but the Omnia's spec & other features sucked me right in.

I really looked at the blackberry....fiddled w/ a Storm & Curve....it was the absence of the "tweaker's dream" that finally won out.

Absolutely NO remorse..perfect for me.

Thanks for what you've done and whatever you will do. Your alternatives also pulled me this way (just from reading before I'd gotten it), and I'd do it all again in a NY second.

I always wondered if you experimented on your primary device..I can certainly understand that you would like a phone that was operational at all times. I'm so attached to my phone, that I'm a basket case if I leave my office for lunch and leave my phone at my desk! I always make sure that when I have flashed, I had enough time to fix or reinstall stuff before I have to leave the house the next day.

I'm happy to hear you will still be there for us and have new goodies to try-you have made me love my phone!

Great to hear man! I've been carrying both the Storm and Omnia for awhile now. Would love to see you come out with a release over on crackberry! Maybe you can get your hands on 5.0 OS and work some of that majic. Good choice btw, the tour is currently running more than 3x the mem as the Storm. Let me know if you have the trackball issue, there is a leaked update floating around.

Yes, it was my primary device and I have really lost some important stuff along the way. My main qualm with the Omnia is the GPS and lack of keyboard. My fat fingers have come to realize that virtual keyboards are not for me.

Its a great device. I just decided to try something that fit my needs a little more. The lack of tweakability bothers me, but at the same time, I can't afford to have a broken down phone right now.

Adryn, not happy to see you dump WM as your ROM's have always been unreal... but as long as you are still playing with them, we should be good. As far as enemies are concerned, prob nothin' more than a handful of P/O's wives, that are now gonna be happier than heck reading this post!!! Thanks for everything you've done for all of us!!
