Hey BlazingWolf, THat GPS switch...

....on the Today screen of ur MS3 Rom...right before the Mobile Shell takes over....

I got a finger on it during that brief window of time & flipped the GPS on. About 30 minutes later I fired up Google maps, hit "Use GPS" and it was INSTANTLY ON......5 Sats.

So what was that, how can I get to it once MS has started? I didn't see any reference on your ROM thread, and didn't see a program in the Start Screen.

I use the same ROM. I believe if you hit the "Show Today" button in MS3, you will see the switch...

Re: Hey BlazingWolf, THat GPS switch...

That is BAF GPS Toggle. It is a GPS toggle today plugin.

It's not in the Neo version because Titanium can't be run at the same time it is.

What it does is keeps your GPS on and locked to sats so that when you turn on your GPS program it locks instantly.

Re: Hey BlazingWolf, THat GPS switch...

I figured as much but wasn't sure. Oh well... I don't need immediate GPS locks that bad... I'll keep the Neo theme running instead. How is the gps toggle on your battery if it keeps your gps always on? I'm getting on avg 2+ days on the battery w/ your neo theme.

Re: Hey BlazingWolf, THat GPS switch...

So THATS the infamous BAF GPS.
Having used Titanium prior to BW's MS3 I was unable to utilize it even though it was suggested.
MAN THAT ROX!!!!! Flips on, grabs the Sats; then the apps are immediately locked.
Friggin FABULOUS.
Fishingmedic,
I'd bet the battery life will suffer, so you'd only wanna toggle GPS on when you're gonna use it. And thats EXACTLY as I'd like it to be....on when I want, off when I want.

Wait a sec...which of the fabulous ROMs that BW has put out has this wonderful feature. I have been using BAFs forever and absolutely love it.
