Fix to get Midomi working over 3g

With a Registry Editor change

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Melodis\Midomi\midomiGU IDType

from 3 to 1

Save and soft reset. I just was able to have it ID a song on the radio without wifi on.

Nice. I'll have to give that a try.

That worked perfectly. Thanks. I will whip up a cab with the fix.

This version has the fixed registry entry and is the compressed version that Sector put out. Seems Ikkari over at Modaco was the one who found this reg edit.

B-dub, how did you get around the "soft menu key" not responding issue that you and others mentioned over in the Modaco thread? Tried both cabs and both still lock up on me upon pressing 'Menu'

Upon further reading at Modaco, it appears that this issue is still unresolved for i910 users (i900 users don't have this problem)

Let us know if you find a fix, BW

Re: Fix to get Midomi working over 3g

I don't use the soft menu key right now. There are probably some reg settings missing. I will see if I can find them.

I must say this app is absolutely amazing. The first thing I tried was humming a verse from Enter Sandman - within 5 seconds it popped up as the first result. Simply amazing.
