Some beginner questions

As I mentioned in another recent post, I picked up an Omnia this week and loaded Adryn's vanilla 1.0 ROM on it. Been using Windows CE devices for 10+ years but I'm still learning my way around 6.5

1. Are there any recommended registry hacks that I should apply? Anything that improves performance, battery life, or just settings that most people tend to like?

2. I keep seeing references to "Titanium" and "panels". Am I correct in assuming that Titanium is the today screen and panels are the individual options on the today screen?

3. Assuming my assumptions in #3 above are correct, how can I add and remove panels? For example, I'd like to remove the Opera Favorites and a couple other panels, and, hopefully, add a "system" panel that contains a couple of applets from the system control panel.

4. I keep seeing reference to an "M2D" ROM. What's that?

5. Can anyone recommend a good stock ticker panel?

6. Any other words of wisdom for a 6.5 newbie?

Thanks!

Jason
