Is This Normal

I have a 30 sec long sms tone set to play when I receive a text message. When the phone is in sleep mode and I receive it, it only plays for like 6 secs and stops. Is this normal? If not, what can I do to fix it?

Re: Is This Normal

It is normal, it's been talked about before and I'm sorry to say that no one has figured out why this happens.

Re: Is This Normal

Probably due to some power management setting. I suspect the only way to fix this is to disable all power management settings/reg edits and enable them one by one and see which one helps. But, obviously, the tradeoff would be reduced battery life.
