Stop notification bubbles?

Does anyone know of a way to stop the popup notification bubbles that appear on the top menu? The main one I am wanting to kill is the one that tells me when the phone is connecting to broadband. I have WP and it is set to pull weather every 30 minutes. But I really get annoyed that the stupid little notification bubble pops up to tell me it is connecting. Also the ones that tell me the remote host ended the connection (when I am tethered to the computer), etc, etc, etc.

Any way to add those to the Sounds and Notifications settings through a registry edit? Or any other way to kill them off?

Re: Stop notification bubbles?

Settings -> System -> Sounds & Notifications -> Notifications tab, then under the drop-down box for "Event", select 'Connection established' and uncheck the box for 'Display message on screen'

Do the same for 'Connection disconnected' in the "Event" drop-down box

Doh...I overlooked that.

I did this and it did away with the connection notification, but I still get one when it is disconnected (disconnected by some sort of error anyway). Actually, when I went to the Disconnected Event in the notifications, the option to display the bubble was grayed out (unchecked, but grayed out).
