CM Wifi Internet Sharing, ported to Omnia

Good to hear it's working for the Omnia, however been using version .91 version of WMWifiRouter for a while now and it's always been free

I don't think Blazingwolf has had any luck with it, either.

Did you use the new method that was posted yesterday? That killed my WiFi connection at home. So, I still not sure how useful this will be to me.

Any ideas on how to get Wifirouter working? It worked for me initially but now I only get local connectivity and not internet, no matter what I try. I was hoping the HTC would work, but not if it's going to break wifi at home.

I was also previously using the free version of WMWifiRouter when it all of a sudden stopped working. I could never get it to work after it stopped working, but luckily I got the HTC Wifi app working.

Are you still able to use wifi at home or elsewhere? And how did you get it working?

Edit: Disregard "how did you get it working..." I just followed the link above and see what steps you took. Before I dl'd the cabs I tried WMWifirounter again and it's connecting to the internet again... Wouldn't work yesterday but today it is... strange...

I've never had a single problem with .91. Maybe it's the cab I have, which includes ICS, although I just install the WifiRouter cab because ICS is cooked in the 6.5 ROMS. It's been working since the original stock 6.1 ROM. I just crash cleanup each time on exit.

I have it running and I can connect to the XDA-wifi-Sharing hotspot that it creates, but I get "limited or no activity" from my PC, and can't get online. I have the Jaguar chip set to "Internet" and the IP address is being created by the server, but it's still giving me a 169.254.***.*** number in the IP address box, and on ipconfig /all - any help?
