I tested my wifi connection at home and at first it was trying to connect using the XDA-Wifi-Sharing. So what I did was click my router on the list and manually connect. Wifi at home is working again.

I'm not sure why you're still getting the 169.x.x.x IP. You might want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

As 07aspenx mentioned, it requires manual connection, but yeah, its still working for me.

Re: CM Wifi Internet Sharing, ported to Omnia

Adryn, if you're considering cooking this new app into your Vanilla and/or M2D ROMs, may I politely suggest you add the free version of WMWifiRouter instead... While thanks to Sector for porting it, this new program is rather glitchy and less user friendly than WMWifi.

If you aren't planning on cooking it in, then ignore this post

Well...

Its really kind of a catch-22.

While this isn't as user friendly, its also less damaging to the wifi drivers. Anyone who has had to do a crash cleanup in WMWifirouter is familiar with this.

Good point. I usually have to run the crash cleanup after exiting WMWifi each time, but didn't need to with this program... Your call, boss

Re: CM Wifi Internet Sharing, ported to Omnia

I couldn't get it to connect out to the internet, and I had to do a hard reset my Wi-Fi router at the house for some reason. Guess I should try the other program...

Re: CM Wifi Internet Sharing, ported to Omnia

Well I gave up on this and switched to WMWifi Router. Awesome app, once you install and patch ICS.
