dumb question

ok so i installed htc task manager...

can amtone tell me where it instals/how to access it?

look at the upper right corner of your today screen...looks like a couple lines with an arrow. If it isn't there go to Settings>system>taskmanager (the one with a little speaker icon) and there should be a tab where you can activate it.

There are no dumb questions. Remember, there was a time in every single one of our lives when we didn't know what HTC task manager was. So we all started somewhere...

i am familiar with said task manager. Its not in either location though witch is why im confised

I think I'm gonna ask Adryn about this too, as im using his base rom, and his HTC Task Manager cab.

Ive now removed it and reinstalled it and it still is no where to be found

AFAIK it normally just installs to the windows directory, but the only task manager in there is the default still.

Fair enough, I meant no offense

Try going into Settings -> System -> Task Manager (careful, there are two here now. You want to select the one with the white icon). Is it there? If so, open it up

Once there, opn the 'Button' tab at the bottom and make sure 'Enable Quick Menu on Today screen' is checked

Edit: Also, remember that Adryn's base ROM doesn't come with HTC pre-installed. Only Vanilla and M2D, so you were right to install the cab manually
