Samsung Mobile Innovator

From msmobiles.com:

Samsung opened their virtual device lab for Windows Mobile developers

Since Windows Mobile platform supports many form factors from many manufacturers, so it is difficult to test some programs on all possible hardware configurations. Obviously it is impossible to have all models of Windows Mobile phones as there are many out there! Samsung is the first one to offer remote, over the Internet, ability to run and test applications in real Windows Mobile hardware.

There is no hassle and no need to purchase given hardware (phone) to test:

Do you have an application or mobile website you want to test on Windows Mobile phones?

You can now test your mobile application, website or message service for free on real Samsung devices simply by using your browser. Visit Samsung Mobile Innovator and you can access several different devices to test your applications. Devices include: Samsung Ace, BlackJack II, and Omnia (CDMA and GSM).

No trial, no credit cards, just free access to the Samsung Mobile Innovator virtual device lab (Lab.Dev).

This looks interesting enough to download.

Re: Samsung Mobile Innovator

It's not a download. It is a java app that runs in your browser.

Re: Samsung Mobile Innovator

I just finished playing with this and here's how it worked for me. You sign up with Samsung Mobile Innovator (for free) and you reserve the phone for anywhere from 30 min to 2 hrs.

Once you do that, you will be prompted to download lab.dev, a java applet.

From there, it's all up to you. Happy developing!
