Thanks to everyone who offered thier help. It appears my phone is dead. Well im off to call verizon for a new one....

There should be no problem getting another one. When I requested one (for nonexistent Hard Reset probs) I received a factory refurb within 48 hours. Less the back cover and battery, which you transfer over from your phone.

As it turned out, I figured out the flexing of the Call/End buttons while hard resetting and wound up sending the replacement back.
