Are the settings for GPS in Google Maps the same as always?

Holy crap, go Ad! Will try it out now. I have only 8 megs on my my device memory, so as far as I can see I have no choice but to try it on my storage, we shall see....

Well, i'm in a place where i usually have a hard time getting a lock, Google Maps can't find where I am, I didn't HR though. I'll mess with it some more outside.

just tried it out on mine with igo 8.3...nada. Igo is in My Storage and q-gps is in device, plus I am in a warehouse where I usually never get a GPS signal, so I went outside briefly to see and still nothing.

If you dont get a gps signal, you dont get a lock, period.

This is not aGPS, there is no tower triangulation taking place. This just speeds up locks of the regular gps.
