Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution!
just tried it out on mine with igo 8.3...nada. Igo is in My Storage and q-gps is in device, plus I am in a warehouse where I usually never get a GPS signal, so I went outside briefly to see and still nothing.

Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution!
If you dont get a gps signal, you dont get a lock, period.
This is not aGPS, there is no tower triangulation taking place. This just speeds up locks of the regular gps. |

Sitting at home, BING it, and BONG! in about 15 sec. Not so working with Garmin.
So Bim Bam thanks Ma'am. Now Bing wont do as fast but the fact that I got a lock at home (first for me) proves that Adrynalyne is the man. Only thing is that the app has one Ugly icon

Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution!
You son of a gun, it worked!!!!!!!!!!! You know how much of a problem I have with my gps Ad and it actually worked for me! I stepped outside my office at my job, I am NEVER able to get a lock within MILES of here. Within a minute I was connected to 4 satellites. Wow, this is just amazing.
Edit: In case anyone is wondering, like I said I have google maps installed to my storage, but since the quickgps cab is so small, I put it on My Device |
