tomrom one XL and omnia

ok, I bought a refurbished tomtom one XL, when I first took it out of the box I was able to connect through my phone via bluetooth, then I updated the firmware on the tomtom and it gives me an error every time... someone on another forum said I needed tethering enabled, but if that is so, why did it work the first time?

when I first tried I left username and password fields blank, and it worked, now nothing works... anyone else have one of these and know anything?

is that a wink wink nudge nudge kinda thing? that your rom has it?
I haven't tried any of the roms yet, I was waiting for Verizon to release the official one first so I had a fall back plan.

My roms have ICS cooked in. The other chefs do the same.

Re: tomrom one XL and omnia

I have the ICS installed that has been floating around so I could do wireless tethering using the wmwifirouter, which works great, but it doesn't work with BT except as a PAN network. is yours different than this?
