Last.fm

So another thread got me to check out Last.fm, and i love it. So im trying to figure out if i can play last.fm radio service through Conduits pocket Player (it supports pushing sound to my bluetooth), or i need to find a way to push all sound to my bluetooth for any apps.

Anyone got any ideas on how i could accomplish this?

Re: Last.fm

Alright so ive been workin on this and may have found a solution that would open doors to using lastfm through any player... but i need help.

Here is what i have so far...
Downloaded lastfmproxy, and python environment for winmo (ill post links at the bottom)

installed both
lastfm proxy appears to connect to lastfm
using http://localhost:1881 will NOT work so far from my player however. I have to use http://127.0.0.1:1881 to make it connect at all.

Either way however i get no sound. There is a URL for a lastfmproxy group in the text file but unfortunately i cant access that at the moment.

Re: Last.fm

Couldn't you just set it to play music within the browser and then use skyfire?

Re: Last.fm

if all you want is to play lastfm, you can use the scrobler (ill post a link). im after the abilitu to play it through ANY media player... specificly cpp for features i cant get any other way.

anyhow i got this working on my pc last night to make sure i was doing it right, in theory i could somply set up a pc to stresm the last fm radio, but im already using that pc to run a website, ftp, and stream playon to my ps3 lol, so id like to keep this on my phone.

i See you found a solution and congrats on that.

My solution for this type a problem has always been just to redirect all audio through my bt headset.

http://www.pdaphonehome.com/forums/s...h-headset.html

This works with the omnia. Its simple and easy and effective. I like it cause it not only redirects music and such but I get to hear all my notifications through my headset which is a big advantage for me cause I dont always here the notifications or feel the vibrate. Hope this helps as well.
