Dumb Question..

So I've flashed my stock i910 from verizon to cc20 (wm6.1). Was looking at adrynalyn's (sp) 6.5 3.8.1 version...where's the img file, or do we use the bin in umdl instead?

bin but load it in the umdl under pda only. Read Adryn's post where you downloaded it

btw why is there 3 files listed..one normal, one m2d and one base..i'm assuming use the normal with the extras in it?

yep use the bin.. on the umdl screen where you selected img... use PDA button instead.. navigate to the unzipped bin file should be flash adryn 6.5 3.8.1 etc etc.. it has to say FLASH in front of it for umdl to see it...

so

1. DL the flash 6.5 v3.8.x.x.x.x.xx.xx.xx.x and unzip
2. turn off USB in active sync (xp)
3. start umdl, hit PDA..navigate to the unzipped FLASH .bin file, then hit detect near the bottom....
4.turn off phone, and connect it to the usb cable... as soon as you see the charging indicator, turn the phone on...

Normal is the one the "average" user will want - it's got the standard WinMo 6.5 home screen as well as some included applications to improve your experience. Base is the same without the extra applications. M2d is for Manila 2D, a completely different home screen that looks like TouchFlo 3D from the HTC Touch Diamond/Touch Pro. It looks good but I found it to be a bit limiting in terms of capability.
