Outlook problem

I use Microsoft Exchange Server at work to sync my phone. I have many contacts that are businesses. Under "Company" and "Last Name" I have the name of the company (IE: Movie Theater). When I call them the phone changes it to unknown and puts it at the bottom of my contact list!!!

This sucks.

Any solution?

Am I doing something wrong?

You didn't say what contacts manager you use but on mine (Samsung?) five lines down after "Job Title" is "File As". I always choose how I want the contact filed. If you check this as the last step in entering/updating your contacts it shouldn't change unless Exchange is doing it.

Thing is, I don't use Exchange so I don't know how that would affect the list.

Re: Outlook problem

The "File As" field fills in automatically. I checked and it's always filled in.

Yes it's always filled in but is Exchange affecting the contents? This entry is what determines the placement in the contact list.

I know it's basic but is Caller ID enabled?

I guess I asked a stupid question. I can't find anything on enabling/disabling Caller ID. Only how to block it on a per call outgoing only. The only very brief mention of Caller ID in Omniauser.pdf is page 69 and the index.

Sorry bout that.
