PPC Font Changer App

people ask me how to change their font all the time. here is a cool little app that lets you change your font without overwriting you current font and lets you go back to original. now not all fonts look good or work with your Omnia you just have to try a few and see what works best for you. here are a couple that i found to look nice on my phone.

All credit goes to g77 over at XDA

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416325

instructions:
Download ppcChangeFont.zip put the .exe directly on your phone can be ran from storage card. Just copy your favorite fonts to a folder placed in the root and run ppcChangeFonts! Enjoy if you have questions just ask!

I have included the 3 fonts i used above ill add more as soon as i get done testing them all. if you get an error hit retry once and then hit abort until it says soft reset

Re: PPC Font Changer App

There is a fontmaker app out there for a PC that converts 'normal' fonts you find to something you can use on your PPC, so I think the answer to your question greenskeeper805 is yes (I could, and most likely am wrong though). That being said, (and BTW thank you bgill55 for posting this) I wonder if there is a repository of PPC fonts we can use with this app. I wanted to get into creating my own, but I can't due to key apps not working on my PC (darn you Vista)!!

I am looking for the DALEK font, and would like to (as greenskeeper mentioned) find a way to enlarge or shrink the font.

Re: PPC Font Changer App

BTW....bgill55....have you tried the CAB form another poster in the XDA thread posted yet? The thread there is not too informative yet, and I was thinking a CAB would be easier for the casual user to install + use (hopefully).
