Vlingo voice control in beta testing

Looks like there is a new voice control software getting ready to enter the market. It is in beta testing right now and is only available on the Omnia for Verizon.

Well, so far I know it must be installed to device memory and it has to be slaved to the main menu button. During setup it has you do a search for concert tickets. It connects but doesn't seem to do anything else and I get stuck there. More playing is needed I guess.

i tried downloading this thing from my phone like the website said to do, and when i pop in my email addy, it says that it's incompatible with my device. so, i gave up for now. but it sounds from your testing that it's flakey....

Yeah, so far not so good.

I'm waiting for a reply back today to see if I can get it working.

sounds really cool.. unfortunately when i downloaded it and installed i could not get past 'say search concert tickets'

perhaps it is because i'm running 6.5? not sure exactly...
