Re: Streaming TV

i would have to disagree with the person who said that Hava is bad. i have been using a hava player for about six months now and have had zero problems with it as of yet. maybe it didnt work well for the omnia but i cant say yet since i will be getting my omnia today.

Re: Streaming TV

MrOmnia81,

Another thing to consider is the speed at wich you can connect through VZ. I have EVDO with Sprint and if I don't have at least 2 bars, forget about it. There's no way the video will stream smoothly with anything less than 2 bars. Even at that minimum, it will buffer about once every 5 minutes. I need to have about 3 or 4 bars for completely flawless video/TV streaming.

I have posted a blog on Orb, from which you can connect to it and view a sample of a TV recording. It will look similar to, if not exactly the same as, streaming TV because it's still being streamed from my home PC.

If you want, I could also set you up with a sample guest account for you to see how the live TV stream works on your phone before you buy the TV tuner.

But, for now, I'll just PM you the link to the recorded TV sample show.
