MSNBC Mobile and Omnia

When I try to run MSNBC Mobile after installing I get:

Security Error: an error occured while trying to conect securely. This may be due to an invalid security certificateon your phone or server.

Anyone experience this or is there a fix. Couldn't find anything searching on the forums or our best employee Google.

Thanks!

Re: MSNBC Mobile and Omnia

It's not meant to be run on the Omnia. I think it only works with Sprint phones. You can try running that customizer app to change the provider name to Sprint, but I doubt it'll work.

Re: MSNBC Mobile and Omnia

According to the drop-down list on msnbc.com, it's only for the Sprint 6700 and 6800, and about 6 Cingular phones. You can see the list right here.

Re: MSNBC Mobile and Omnia

Well that is not cool since it was the featured app on Microsoft's Total Access newsletter that I got today. I assumed it would work with all WM phones. Thanks for pointing this out...

Re: MSNBC Mobile and Omnia

Someone should contact Microsoft about this, actually.
