Re: CC20 Xt9 Bug
Sure, just type some gibberish and scroll the xt9 word list until it says add word. When you select it, the add word dialogue pops up for only a second. Another really irritating thing is that xt9 now won't assume that when you press ui once in the keypad it will put u instead of I. Small thing for what you get though. Still on v3.6 wm6.5 and loving it!

Re: CC20 Xt9 Bug
My biggest irritation with the CC20 ROM in that when you select the "ghi" key once you get the letter "G" rather than "I" as it was in the stock Omnia ROM. And as far as I know there is no way to back up the "My Words" file. So if you take the time to add all of your own words into the Zt9 dictionary and try to back the neccessary files up, the next time you flash your phone and try to replace the files you still lose all of "my words".
I flash nearly every updated ROM of yours so I don't even bother trying to enter my own "My words" anymore. |

Re: CC20 Xt9 Bug
Please tell me you're working on a fix for this known issue? That would be amazing if someone could resolve the 'Add Word' funtion and XT9 assume the letter 'I' when you hit the 'ghi' button.

Re: CC20 Xt9 Bug
Interestingly enough when you install Shokka9's "XT9 GlossBlack" Keyboard over MoDaCo the "I" issue and the "Add Word" seems to work great as well.
But by doing this you are reverting back to the keyboard "Pre-CC20" so you lose the full keyboard "letter popup" functionalty. And you also have the black keyboard and less space on your device. |

Re: CC20 Xt9 Bug
Lol, I'm glad that I'm not the only one that hates that "g" instead of "i" thing :P
I hope you can fix that bug, adryn! It's getting to be about time to send another beer to ya anyways |

Re: CC20 Xt9 Bug
Well, for reasons I do not understand, the xt9 files are tied to the keyboard.
So, when I replace the entire xt9 subsystem with a working one, the phone stops booting. So, my fix may be to simply cook in Shokka's keyboard, as it has an entire xt9 subsystem with it. |
