I got mine in April for "free" (new line and 2-yr contract, of course) from VZW. I couldn't understand why they weren't charging $99 or more, given what their competition is doing.

Got it for $99 in March, but from what I've seen, all you you have to do is call CS and they'll give you the credit on your next bill.

Nah, I have to go in with my receipt since I bought it in store, and the store didn't put any notes on my account or something. Oh well, at least I'm getting $100.

Re: Omnia i910 now $99 from Verizon ($169 before rebate)
My wife returned her phone over a month ago and has yet to receive credit for it from vzw. When we call and give tracking number they just give us the "well check and get back with you" junk. So I wouldn't recommend sending it back.
A friend went to the store and spoke with the manager about a price drop they did on Blackberry Storm. He got the difference credited to his account. He mentioned that is possible if the price changes within a week of purchase. Not sure if that is true or not. |

I'm not sending it in, I just need to take my receipt to the store. They said they'd refund the difference, I believe as a credit on the account, within 30 days...today is day 29.
