Problem with word completion

I need help i try and turn this off any every time i go into PIE or opera mobile

it still trys to suggest words and it is very annoying i have it turned off but

keeps doing it, anyone know what i could do to turn it off for good?

I had that problem too, It was extremely annoying and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to fix that problem. all you have to do is go to your keyboad and look if xt9 (under P and above sym123 on the right of L)is on. If so, click on it to turn it of untill you see "text" this will stop word complition. Good luck..

thanks that worked, Now i also have one other question, is there anyway

i can get active sync to stop starting up when the phone does?
