recover deleted sms

I'm looking for an app or trick to recover a deleted sms.
I would be happy too if someone could me tell me if there is some kind of log where I can find the number of who sent it, I don't actually need the deleted message.

I've been searching for a while and haven't come across anything I can use with my omnia..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: recover deleted sms

do you have a backup of any kind? there are several pogs that will back up your device (including text) many of them would allow you to recover it (if you made a backup while you had the text.

Also who is your carrier? I am on verizon and while the paper bill won't show me who texted me, the online version will. Perhaps you could call your carrier...

I have made a backup, but not at that point in time so it's of no use.

Ty for the reply, but I use prepaid cards so I don't have a bill..

lol I kinda figured that was the first thing but you never know...

As far as Verizon goes, you should be able to call them and ask them to pull up your message archive. I've never tried it personally but I've heard that it can be done, prepaid or not.

Just curious. Did you pay retail for the phone or E-Buy it?

Ted

Ted
I bought it from a friend of mine, he couldn't work with it so after a month he sold it to me.
