Default Notification Replacement

Does anyone know of a different notification replacement App for 6.1 that will make the alerts a bit easier to get to than the icon on the task bar? I get reminders for meetings, new email, and some other things going there, and it has been a bit of a pain in the butt.

If there was a more finger-friendly one, that would rock!
