Quick Memmaid Question

Okay, in memmaid, where you can scan and defrag the "my storage" and "storage card" it says to back it up first cause it may damage the files or something...should I actually back it up or is it more or less safe to proceed?

Just to be safe I would do a backup. You never know what might happen when the dafrag starts moving file fragments around. Could end up corrupting something.

Re: Quick Memmaid Question

I'll have to back everything up to my laptop, cause normally it backs up to the storage card lol. So can't back up the storage card to the storage card and then defrag...

Re: Quick Memmaid Question

I was once doing a cleanup with Memmaid, and it started going on and on, and I stopped it with a soft reset. I found out it was deleting my storage card!! Never did figure out why. It only happened once, and I still use the older version of Memmaid, but I am a big believer in backups!
