Bluetooth Sounds and voice to text on i910

Is there anyway to get my ringtones and other sounds to come through my bluetooth headset? My 2 year old Moto Q ( the 1st version ) running WM5 did this just fine, but I get zippo with the Omnia.

On calls my headset just gives me it's default "incoming call" sound, and other sounds like missed messages and such typically do not come through BT.

I say typically, because IF I am on an active call with my BT and I get a new text or voice mail the notification sound WILL come over my headset. So this leads me to believe that the phone is just not opening the BT comm for what I guess it considers trivial sounds.

Also, I find Voice Commander darn near worthless. I would love the ability to speak my text messages and short e-mails via my BT. It is a shame that the crackberry can do this and out wonderful WinMo phone can not.

Any ideas??
