Verizon Omnia i910 ROM

Can anyone give me the status of the ROM update that is scheduled to be released by Verizon? Also, is it supposed to have the GPS unlocked? Any information you could offer would be appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Re: Verizon Omnia i910 ROM

I couldn't wait vor Verizon to get their act together so I went ahead and flashed to the beta ROM. Works great!

Re: Verizon Omnia i910 ROM

I think one thing that is holding up verizon right now for the update is VZnavigator... I did the beta flash and now VZNavigator can not connect to the GPS because it is no longer encrypted and until they fix this they will not release the update...

Re: Verizon Omnia i910 ROM

You have to remember, this is a beta leaked ROM that we have... The date has already been set for May 11, so I'm sure they already have that stuff fixed. Just made some buffer time to make sure that there are not kinks in the system.

Re: Verizon Omnia i910 ROM

This isn't even the latest Beta release. Word has it the newer beta has VZNav working, but a lot of crap not working right.

So, who knows.

I still can't find the setting to change the battery increment to 5%...
I checked in Easy Settings and there's nothing in either the Power or Display menus.

You can stop looking. Per Adrynlayne that applet gives false readings anyway. It's removed from his latest ROM.
