Charging Animation (When Off)

Hey everyone

When i charge my omnia, when its off, it displays the little white charging animation, generic battery being "filled" by white bars.

However....it will continue to show this animation forever. It never stops, even when the battery is 100%.

Was just wondering if anyone else has this issue, and knows of a fix.

when mine is 100% it says in bold white letters, "charging is complete" have u let it charge overnite while the phone is off...?

I left it for about 6 hours, then turned it on and checked, and it was at 100%. So i kept it on.
But if thats what its supposed to do, i'm gonna keep it plugged in and check up on it all day.

Its very difficult to get a full charge via USB. Make sure you are using a wall charger.

Oh for sure. I have it plugged into the wall.
I guess I am used to my HTC Diamond, who charged to full in like...an hour. Its been like 6+ for this guy and I am so antsy about killing batteries haha...

it does take a while to get a full charge on the Omnia, thus the excellent battery life...

Has anyone figured out how to get battery animation working in S2U2?

How are you determining it's at 100%? Charging is not complete until the led at the top goes from red to green.

If it's turned on and asleep, the led will turn green, it will wake up, play the charge complete notification and briefly display "Charging Complete", and then turn the backlight off when it times out.

I always just look at the led. It will let you know the state of the charge whether the phone is on or off.
