Has Anyone Done A Rom For Omnia On Sprint!?

My Diamond touch ended up in the toilet courtesy of my 2 yr old. So, I saw an omnia on ebay that said it could be flashed to use on sprint.. I was wondering if anyone has done such a thing yet?

Uhh I suggest u give ur phone 2 or 3 days to dry out....when it turns on, pay sprints deductible and get another Touch diamond....

because they have yet to make a ROM for carriers that actually have the Omnia, like Telus and Bell...so I doubt it could be done for sprint, before Bell and telus get theirs...

Re: Has Anyone Done A Rom For Omnia On Sprint!?

It really depends on how lenient Sprint is in activating other carriers ESNs. Some carriers will activate, some won't. You may get it activated for voice but you will be on your own getting MMS, email and web working. Tech Support won't be any help.

Re: Has Anyone Done A Rom For Omnia On Sprint!?

Here are a few discussions on HoFo about activations. The gist I got was after Verizon started accepting other carriers' phones Sprint was "in the process" of opening up their network to other carriers' phones.
