yeah - without that windows live cab - on a stock phone - it'll go bonkers on you. I had the goof ball at verizon wireless fiddle with it FOREVER when I first received the phone.

if you need to - delete the current one you have setup --

install cab - then goto setup new email account from messaging

--push all the way thru - and let it sync. If all is well - you should be able to go back to messaging and see the hotmail account -- if so - then continue --

goto OPTIONS while in messaging [where you can see your text message inbox/ MMS inbox / Hotmail / Setup new account] and select your hotmail. From here you can change your sync schedule to get new messages "As items arrive" and to do it "always"
