Re: Verizon Opens Phone reviews to Public
Thanks for the heads-up. I posted my review this morning and mentioned the GPS and software locks...we'll see if it gets screened out, it's posted under my Razgriz1138 screenname.

Re: Verizon Opens Phone reviews to Public
I checked today, and there are some reviews there. Of the 39 "reviews" posted for the Omnia, I didn't see mine. I wonder if these are actual reviews, or are they VZW planted reviews.

Re: Verizon Opens Phone reviews to Public
Look at this review, give me a break lol:
"This phone has so much promise, unfortunately it has so many problems that it makes any price including free seem too much to pay for it. The Radio feature is nice but the sound quality is horrid when recording. You can't really navigate the phone with out the stylus. There are no apps for this phone. There is just no excuse for this even if it is designed for bussiness use. Music player with no Rhapsody support. No Vcast. The phone is really slow for a 3g phone. It will lose your files to a limbo of no return. It has a nice camera and the email is nice. And the Windows media player is nice, but then there is a freezing problem that accures more often than a Canadian winter. I know I said it before, but, how can you not have apps? The system has a problem with managing memory even if you add a 16gig card. This needs to be flashed so much that it seems that you are at the Verizon store enough to recieve a pay check. If I could have given this phone less than 1 star, I would have gone with 1/2 star only to be nice. I really wanted to like this phone. It is just too bad that it couldn't live up to 1/3 of it's potential. My advice, G-cycle this brick and start over. Pros: nice design cool radionice camera lots of memory kind of. Cons: hard to use.eats through memorysound is bad you need the stylus" |

Re: Verizon Opens Phone reviews to Public
OK just had to go check. The featured review that popped up first boasts Opera Mini 9.5. I have looked and searched everywhere. What is the secret that opens up Opera Mini 9.5 instead of Opera Mobile?
The latest Mini ($) is the 4.2 release, of course. Verizon sales ****s must be writing the reviews. They're probably showing this review to walk-ins at the stores. Edit: Arrggg. Censor kicked in. I thought that phrase was synonymous for sales personnel - non gender specific. Sorry bout that. Ted
