Vista not seeing my phone

Why can't I get Vista to see my omnia. I downloaded the newest version of mobile device center and it just doesn't see it. I can use it as a modem but can't explore it...

Go to Settings/Connections tab/USB to PC and uncheck "Enable advanced network functionality".
