Question Eliminating redundant contacts when syncing

I'm a new Omnia i910 owner. My previous phone contacts were transferred over by Verizon when I bought the phone. I later synced it with outlook. Now my contacts have multiple entries for the same person.

In outlook I would normally just have someone's email address and on my old phone I would have their phone numbers only. Well now I have two entries for a lot of these people. One email only and one phone only. Is there a method or utility out there that I can use to merge these contacts together and reduce the redundancy and clutter in my contacts?

I hope this makes sense and thanks in advance.
