Omnia is forgetting tone settings

When I set up ringtone all is fine and working ... but when I change ringtones to silent mode or vibrate mode, omnia will change ringtone always defaults back to the "1960's" one no matter what it's set to previously (usually classic bell). I have to go in and change this each time. I have fimware DXIA5 and I am not using third party soft ... only one exceptions ThumbCal.

Can you help me ... please

Are you changing it through FavoriteSettings?

Its a known bug, if so.

I am having this problem too. And I was changing it thru the FavSettings.

Uff ... you want me to say that everybody live with that. When they change to silent mode and than back ... will listen 1960's and nobody care

What if I will delete all samsung ringtones and leave only my mp3 in a ringtone folder? Btw, which one is default ringtone folder?

Deleting isn't going to change anything. A bug is a bug. Samsung knowingly added it to the latest ROM, when there were widespread reports of FavoriteSettings having this problem during beta.

Typical Samsung.

I have found solution for this issue. I have changed name of my favorite mp3 to 1.mp3 and now it is first on the list. When I change ringtone settings omnia will pick up first mp3 in the list. Which is now my favourite 1.mp3 file
