You need a registry editor.

PHM is free.

Its located at
HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings\

SuspendResume default is 1501 for verizon users.

cachetime is 600

Those are the only values my cabs change. I've no idea what the defaults for Telus are. I don't mean to be a jerk, so please don't take it that way.

Always back up before tweaking.

Adrynalyne,

Thank You....I don't see how that is being a jerk....perfect, quick answer. I just want a way to go back (I forgot to back up doh! ](*,)). I have been having coverage issues all of a sudden and since the cab. was cutting off my connection after a minute it was gettting hard to see where I was losing my connection. I use Rescoe, how is PHM in comparison?

That said, if you want a timeout, its as simple as a registry edit. I've taken the liberty of making two cabs to do it for you.

One for 1 minute timeout when idle, one will timeout after 3 minutes. If you have any apps keeping the connection active, like a browser, it will not disconnect.

How does this apply the the i910 since it primarily uses the CDMA radio?

The OS doesn't know the difference, so it works the same.

Hi Ad, I love using the stuff that you post. I have just flashed to the CF03 update and ran the 3min CAB that you posted for this. I have not noticed the connection disconnecting yet. I start the phone, make it connect by getting the weather with Weather Bug and then after 3 mins of not touching anything, it is still connected. Is there something different in the CF03 update?

No.

If there is any program that is keeping the connection active, vs. idle, it will not disconnect.
